I Was Inspired To Start After Seeing Many Girls In My School And Village Miss School Due To Period Shame And Poverty, Which Caused Poor Performance And Dropouts. During Covid-19, Many Girls Also Faced Teenage Pregnancies Because They Lacked Information To Make Good Health And Life Choices. I Saw Teenage Mothers Struggling With Stigma And Limited Opportunities. I Wanted To Create A Solution That Provides Pads, Empowers Girls, And Helps Them Regain Confidence While Making Informed Decisions For A Better Future. Girls At Bulando Primary In Masaka Girls Increased Their School Attendance And Performance After Joining The Girls Club That I Introduced At School Providing Menstrual Health Education, Care And Hygiene. Winning The Srhr Girl Champion Award Would Be A Big Honor For Me And My Community. It Would Bring Hope, Inspire More Girls To Dream Big, And Attract Support To Expand Our Work, Helping Us Reach More Girls With Menstrual Health Education And Care And Other Srhr Issues That Are Affecting Their Well-being, And Opportunities For A Brighter Future.
