Suicide is the third leading cause of death among people aged 15-29.
Around 1 in 7 adolescents worldwide experience low self esteem and poor self image,and these link with anxiety,depression and suicidal thoughts.
Through my advocacy,I aim to encourage young people to embrace their worth,celebrate their uniqueness, and build confidence from within.
In my first year as an advocate,I aim to directly impact at least 1000 young people through school visits,workshops,mentorship programs and social media outreach.
My long term goal is to reach tens of thousands of young people across Kenya and help them embrace self love and positive self image.
