Advocacy: As a survivor of domestic abuse, my advocacy is dedicated to helping women find the courage to choose themselves and walk away from abusive relationships.

As a young single mother, I know what it feels like to be silenced, controlled, and made to question your worth. I also know that leaving is never easy—but staying in fear comes at a far greater cost.

Today, I use my story to remind women and young girls that no financial provision, promise of comfort, or fear of starting over is worth sacrificing your peace, dignity, safety, or future. A life that looks comfortable from the outside is not a life worth living if it is lived in fear.

Through faith, empowerment, and practical support, I encourage women to take the first step toward independence—starting where they are, using what they have, and believing in what they can become.

Choosing yourself is not selfish; it is an act of courage and self-respect. It is how you reclaim your voice, protect your future, and create a life on your own terms.

Change begins when we choose ourselves. It starts with us.
